This product is white or light yellow crystalline powder, easily soluble in ether, trichloromethane, o-Xylene, toluene and aqueous sodium hydroxide,slightly soluble in ethanol, extremely slightly soluble in water.As a new type of PVC auxiliary heat stabilizer, its transmittance is high, non-toxic and tasteless; it can be used with solid or liquid calcium/zinc, barium/zinc and other heat stabilizers, can greatly improve PVC initial coloring, transparency, and long-term stability, as well as the precipitation and 'zinc fever' in processing;its characteristic is it has very good synergistic effect to 'zinc soap', addition of this product can effectively inhibit 'zinc burning',suitable to implement in rigid, non-toxic, tasteless field, promote the upgrading of the Calcium/Zinc compound stabilizer, it is widely used in medical, food packaging and other non-toxic transparent PVC products (such as PVC bottles, sheets, a transparent film etc.).Dibenzoylmethane can absorb more than 290nm UV, at the same time having the function of light stabilization, can provide long-term stability on PVC products.
